Return from the Brink, or Not?

Aberdeen Museum of History / March 22, 2014

In this brief video segment, Jane addresses the importance of including young people in raptor education.

Forty people attended the program, presented by Jane (Fink) Veltkamp. Assisted by her husband Don, Jane showed two specially trained, live raptors: a Golden Eagle and a Peregrine Falcon. Jane is able to use these birds for education programs under special permit from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. She is Executive Director of the Idaho-based non-profit Birds of Prey Northwest.
